We are seeking an equities reporter to provide deep, real-time news and analysis on the Indian and broader Asian stock markets, with a focus on derivatives. You are a curious and hungry journalist who will dig out exclusive information on options trading and positioning in single stocks as well as major indexes and write insightful stories that provide readers with broader context. The role involves writing fast, concise reports on markets and individual stocks and unearthing insights from traders, portfolio managers and analysts to deliver the news and information clients crave.

You are a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can take feedback. We're known for our quality, accuracy, speed and ability to deliver news investors can use. On the equities team, you will be charged with connecting the dots to provide readers with all they need from the world's leading provider of financial news.

We'll trust you to:

  • Build a deep base of sources across the derivatives landscape

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues on the Equities team globally

  • Break news and write insightful stories analyzing options market trends on deadline

  • Produce and promote content across all our platforms -- from the terminal to video and magazines

  • Track the biggest players in the market so as to report on changes in their trading strategies, people moves and their hiring/expansion plans.

You'll need to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial Journalism

  • A strong understanding of the equity derivatives market

  • The ability to tap into existing equity derivatives contacts to generate stories

  • Solid news judgment and ability to report with speed and accuracy

  • An innovative spirit and a desire to always be learning

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English

  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
