Microsoft Corporation Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack in Multiple Locations, Mexico

Do you love Xbox and gaming? Do you want to be part of preserving the gaming history and culture for future generations? If so, join the Xbox Game Preservation team as an infrastructure developer and work on exciting and challenging projects with world class engineers. You will build new tooling and services to support the emulation efforts, which enable thousands of games to run on Xbox devices. You will also create new tooling to simplify our development and validation efforts and manage our build system.

As an infrastructure engineer, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our game preservation tooling and services. You will own the design, development, and maintenance of our existing tools, as well as the creation of new solutions to improve the emulation capabilities and validation efforts. You will also oversee our build system and ensure its reliability and performance. You will leverage your technical and social skills to collaborate with team members and partners across the Xbox organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high quality maintainable tools that increase efficiency within the team

  • Be an active participant in team direction and development discussions

  • Solve complex data storage problems using Azure technologies

  • Manage our existing Azure resources and security

  • Use your social skills to collaborate with team members and partners

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

  • 4+ years of experience delivering quality infrastructure solutions within a professional organization.

  • Full-Stack Software Engineer Experience.

  • 1+ years of experience of .NET Core/Blazor web development. This roles requires a deep understanding of .NET Core/Blazer web development.

  • Proficient in C#.

  • Familiar with RESTful API services and Azure storage technologies.

  • Able to communicate English in both written and spoken form. Please upload resume in English.
