Summary This job is responsible for performing routine and non-routine tasks involved in the shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment. Primary Responsibilities Package product for shipment as required. Monitor and manage shipping supplies; prepare purchase requisitions to replenish supplies as needed. Perform data entry on computer. Monitor bin inventory levels in shipping areas and replenish as necessary. Operate from established procedures. Maintain an ongoing updated Log Book for BOMs an drawings. Job encounters regular and recurring work situations. Contacts are made on own initiative with other departments and/or carriers concerning matters requiring explanation, discussion, interpretation, or approval. Perform other related duties as assigned. Contributes to team effort. General Tasks Maintain compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations. Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist. Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies High School education or equivalent reading, writing, and math ability. Less than 1 year of experience. Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Travel Requirements None Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs in weight on a semi-repetitive basis.
