Job Summary The Facilities Administrator will provide support to the EHS and Facilities Supervisor. You will help maintain effective and efficient operation of the Mukilteo Facility. You will maintain the function of facility systems. This often involves managing contractors, overseeing vendor maintenance crews, and ensuring that safety standards are met. You will partner with management to plan and execute improvements to the Mukilteo facility as well as keep management informed of any facility related issues through to resolution. Primary Responsibilities Maintaining safety standards by inspecting facilities for hazards such as damaged floors or exposed wiring and taking appropriate action to correct the problem. Coordinating with architects, contractors, engineers, interior designers, and other professionals involved in designing and building new facilities or renovating existing ones. Reviewing plans for new construction projects to ensure they meet code requirements and have adequate support for walls, roofs, and other structures. Scheduling repairs to facilities, equipment, or grounds to ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively. Coordinate the chemical disposal, recycling, and other service of the facilities. Track stock of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and place orders as needed. Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned. Support employees with Badge access creation and locker assignments. Participate in site EHS team and report required metrics on required cadence in compliance with OSHA and corporate governance. Coordinate administration of employee required facility trainings. Uses various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software to prepare reports and/or special projects. Partners with other administrative staff across the organization and executive leadership team for mutual success. Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed. Works with EHS and site leaders to maintain all ISO certifications. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies High school diploma Minimum 5 years professional experience working in general maintenance in a production and office environment. Intermediate mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing (including pumps), HVAC, electrical, and other building systems. Proficiency with repair tools and techniques. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Must be a self-starter, professional demeanor and outgoing style with excellent customer service skills. Ability to take ownership with ability to work effectively independently and with teams. Reliable, punctual, proactive, and has attention to detail Experience in an ISO certified facility preferred. Travel Requirements 10% travel as needed Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 60 lbs. if needed. Sitting and standing while completing tasks. Ability to climb ladders.
