Project Management Intern (Summer 2023) - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Mount Vernon, Indiana

We are looking for motivated college students to join our highly-skilled team of business professionals for a unique summer internship opportunity at our facility in Mount Vernon, Indiana!

BWXT summer interns complete projects and perform a variety of assignments to assist in learning about the important role project management plays in manufacturing environments. Interns will develop and enhance their analytical, decision-making and communications skills, while applying their knowledge in support of project management activities. A BWXT internship not only provides valuable on the job training but allows you to be a part of something bigger!

BWXT offers paid internships along with a housing stipend for those interns whose home of record is more than 50 miles from the facility.

Internships will last approximately 10-12 weeks. At the end of the internship, each intern has the opportunity to present their completed work/assigned projects to the team.

Successful candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/ university and studying Business, Finance, Project Management, Contracts Management or Engineering , AND:

  • Have a Sophomore standing or above at the time the internship begins

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

    U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship is required for this position.
