We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Service Team! Our technicians are a big reason why we have such an outstanding reputation in the material handling industry. Along with expertly servicing lift trucks our technicians are often the main point of contact for our customers. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, installations, and perform scheduled / unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment on customer demand and need.
  • Diagnose and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to the schedule.
  • Perform necessary repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized service van.
  • Prepare documentation relating to each service call in a timely manner.
  • Attend training classes and other company activities as required.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, promoting goodwill between the company and customers by providing a superior level of customer service.
  • You will provide shop/field training to new technicians to supplement formal training programs.

What Makes Me Qualified? 

  • Need to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • 1 to 3 years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in a similar environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic D.C. electricity, basic A.C electricity, and internal combustion.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and training materials, follow verbal and demonstrated instructions.
  • Demonstrates a good mechanical and electrical aptitude, effectively utilizing volt, ohm, multi-meters, and oscilloscope.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members.
  • Ability to maintain a good understanding of industry innovations and product availability to make recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
