As an IT Service Manager III, you will create and sustain the framework for how IT services become valuable, observable and operate well. The Service Manager III negotiates service levels and ensures effective measurement, monitoring, and reporting of the service outcomes. The Service Manager III drives Live Site culture and practice with a dedicated focus on the customer experience. The role owns the management of end-to-end IT service delivery and operations. You will have autonomy and the ability to develop a new element of IT.
What you’ll do
Own, manage, and maintain KPIs for your respective services/function in terms of service availability, delivery, security, and restoration
Identify critical service offerings and drive improvements
Communication management with stakeholders and partners
Promote, maintain, enhance, and institutionalize SIP - service improvement plan
Manage and track the implementation of the SIP activities, and report and escalate issues as needed
Drive service goals that satisfy business needs at a price the business can afford
Proactively build and sustain strong and effective relationships with stakeholders, engineering teams and senior management
Work closely with business to understand the needs and drive the business forward
What you’ll bring
3+ years of work experience using ServiceNow Configuration Management Database and Service Mapping or comparable data workflow systems (required)
3+ years’ experience managing end-to-end IT services delivery and operations
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
Excellent communication both written and verbal
ITIL certification or comparable ITIL/ITSM related work experience
Strong contract review, documentation, and negotiation skills
