Google Senior Product Manager, Buds Hardware, Pixel in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.

  • 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • Experience developing consumer hardware products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in software development, including apps and services, and embedded systems.

  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams, advocating initiatives, and driving product decisions.

  • Experience with voice assistants and/or audio products.

  • Experience with Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.

  • Familiarity with device architecture, sensors, components, system software, silicon and other foundational blocks of the stack.

  • Ability to invent innovative and user-friendly products.

The Pixel Buds team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most innovative and helpful earbuds. The team works on shaping the future of audio wearables devices and services through designs and technologies in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s AI, software, and hardware to build earbuds and create transformative experiences for users.

In this role, you will define, build, deliver, and manage the finest earbuds for our users. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from concept and definition through development, launch and end of life.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Communicate hardware and software requirements for Pixel Buds such as synthesizing a variety of insights through discovery and concepting while also driving decision making on nuanced product trade-offs informed by key user journeys, technical insights, and product strategy.

  • Collaborate with engineering and many support teams across Google.

  • Influence the product line strategy and roadmap including long-term goal, user segment insights, technical innovation, market trends, and platform capabilities.
