Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • With the Safety Manager's direction, develop a Respiratory Protection Program for voluntary use, including selection of respirators, fit testing, medical clearances, etc,

  • Inventory fall protection equipment, develop, and maintain fall protection inspection database that includes all fall protection used across the facility.

  • Review\update inventory of all confined spaces across the facility.

  • Update all Safety bulletin boards across the facility.

  • Determine appropriate locations for additional AEDs throughout PTC.

  • Continuously improve existing processes.

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

  • Ability to learn other software applications as needed.

  • Experience in Manufacturing a plus.

  • Experience in writing safety policies and procedures preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor

  • Proven customer service skills

  • Must have ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Education

Working towards a degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or Environmental, Safety and Health, or other related degree, preferably junior or senior status.
