 Education and Experience Requirements:

 High school graduate or GED preferred.

3 months kitchen experience preferred.

 Job Description

Responsibilities:

·         Able to follow recipes.

·         Follow food safety temperature and contact rules.

·         Understanding various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and cooking procedures

·         Able to unload supply trucks and keep storage organized.

·         Follow daily cooking list assigned by Chef.

·         Properly label and rotate prepped food items in walk in fridge.

·         Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.

·         Ability to work on your feet for an average of 8 hours.

·         Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

·         Able to keep your work area clean while working.

 Objective

Southside Diner's cooks take pride in every plate, making sure they are picture perfect. Always ensuring the freshest products are being used to prepare our dishes. The kitchen is maintained, clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift. We are looking for great kitchen prep cooks to join our team.
