Honeywell Senior Field Service Technician in Mount Laurel, New Jersey

As a Senior Field Service Technician at Honeywell Building Automation, you will play a crucial role in leading successful on-site installation, servicing, and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. In this position, you will work independently without direct supervision, following detailed work instructions and collaborating with Engineering teams to amend any outdated or incorrect instructions. Your responsibilities will also include making improvements to training guides and documentation, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly resolve any administrative difficulties related to the delivery and installation of proper equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Fire and Security Alarm Contracts: Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fire and security alarm systems to ensure compliance and optimal performance.

  • Inspection and Repair of Fire and Security Systems: Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose issues, and repair system components to ensure proper functioning.

  • Installation or Repair Work Orders: Execute work orders for system installations or repairs, following instructions accurately.

  • Provide Customer Support: Address inquiries, provide guidance, and resolve issues related to fire and security systems.

  • Emergency Service Support: Respond promptly to emergency service requests, troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits:

The base compensation range for this position is $58,600 - $72,000. The position also offers sales incentive (subject to change on company performance and individual performance). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of experience in fire and security systems

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to project/program requirements

WE VALUE

  • Fire Alarm and Security System Knowledge

  • Nicet Certificate

  • Honeywell EBI (Enterprise Building Integrator) experience preferred

  • Information Technology experience

  • Previous industry experience

  • Previous technical/installation experience

  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes

  • Bachelor degree or technical/professional certificate

  • Good presentation skills
