Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to join our Logistics (Tech Doc) team. This position will be located in Mt. Laurel NJ where Technology and Teamwork come together! The qualified candidate will become part of BAE Systems, working with a highly complex computer system critical to the defense of the United States. As part of our team the successful candidate will support the US Navy's Aegis Combat System (ACS) research and development, shipboard ACS modernization efforts, new construction, and Fleet support efforts. Aegis is the Navy s premiere computer suite in detection, managing, command & control, directing sensors and putting weapons on target.

Support a team leader to meet tasking objectives

Review, evaluate & analyze Tech Manuals and Maintenance Work Packages for technical accuracy, readability, and compliance with the Navy Technical Manual Style Guide

Provide Technical Documentation FMS Releasability Reviews

Evaluate FMS Case Releasability Guidelines for adequacy

Coordinate review requirements and schedule w/ Customer, Lockheed Martin MST, and NSWC Port Hueneme

Provide Technical Documentation reviews and releasability recommendations to Customer

Adjudicate comments and ensure corrections incorporated into documents

Assist in preparation of reports and presentations

Provide on-site support for the FRATS as required per the schedule

Assist in the project management of special projects for the customer i.e. Process and Procedure Updates

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required education: Bachelor Degree with 2 years experience

Additional years of experience in lieu of a degree

6 Years with HS

4 Years with AA

2 Years with BS

Strong writing & analytical ability

Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel

Must be able to obtain and keep a US Federal Government Secret Clearance

Experience in U.S. DoD and FMS technical documentation production, releasability, or quality assurance reviews

Experience may include Technical Documentation support in related fields such as commercial research and development efforts, or maritime industries

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
