Buffalo Wild Wings Assistant General Manager in Mount Hope, West Virginia

JOB PURPOSE: The AGM assists the General Manager with overseeing the operation of the entire restaurant. Helps train, supervise and coach Team Members and management to ensure perfect shift execution and Guest satisfaction

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS / REPONSIBILITIES

Team

  • Conducts second interviews and schedules orientations

  • Conduct new Team Member orientations (including all associated paperwork)

  • Enter new Team Member into Aloha

  • Enter new Team Member into CTUIT

  • Ensuring all Team Members are 100% completed in the onboarding process

  • New Team Member training schedule completed and given to New Team Member at orientation

  • Training schedule is set only with certified WCTs

  • ALL training paperwork completed and filed after day 6

  • Training manager follows up with training on a day to day basis with signatures

  • If trainee is working a day Training Manager is not working another manager may do post shift training day meeting, but only if Training Manager is not working.  Training Manager should strive to do 100% of all post shift training day meetings

  • Post shift training meetings should be with WCT and trainee

  • ALL training finishes with the position validation form on day 6 unless additional days are needed

  • Position validations are ONLY done by Training Manager or General Manager

  • Development of Wing Certified Trainers for all sections of the restaurant

  • Maintains 2 WCTs for every section of the restaurant at all times

  • WCT submittal paperwork to be held in a binder to be kept in the office

  • Current Roster w/ positions certified for, last certification date, last eval date, next eval date

  • All WCT evaluations completed kept in binder

  • Holds regular WCT meetings at least once a month

  • WCTs given evaluations every 6 months

  • Responsible for all new menu rollouts

  • Responsible for ServSafe training to all WCTs

  • Practice all previously noted “Team” skills

FOH Support Responsibilities

  • Follow Company Operating Standards for Tipped Team Members FOH Support Responsibilities.

  • Opening and closing duties for tipped employees using FOH Support Pay Rate

  • If during the shift a server or bartender is assigned a task to preform that is outside the Tipped Service Responsibilities, that takes more than 10 minutes within an hour, they must clock-out of their tipped pay rate and clock-in under the FOH Support minimum wage pay rate until the task is completed.

Guest

  • Responsible for saving guests that have submitted a Guest Complaint or Hot Alert

  • Guest comment/Hot Alert should be closed out within 48hrs, upon completion Guest Comment form should be submitted to RM.

  • Practice all previously noted “Guest” skills

Quality Ops

  • 1 Full QSC completed once a quarter.

  • Responsible for all Non-McLane ordering

  • Practice all previously noted “Quality Ops” skills

Sales & Profits

  • All invoices entered into CTUIT (most are automatic)

  • Responsible for all Accounts Payable in CTUIT

  • Practice all previously noted “Sales & Profits” skills

Communication

Practice all previously noted “Communication” skills

DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Ensuring training process is 100% every time all the time

  • Development of Wing Certified Trainers
