Genie Electronics Technician in Mount Hope, Ohio

The Electronics Technician will be responsible for supporting the Engineering team for technical assistance with products during all phases of the design process. The technician will need to be able to gain a complete and thorough knowledge of existing products, along with new product designs, to optimize the team's performance level.Basic Qualifications: - Two years of post-secondary education (college or trade school) with an emphasis on engineering or engineering technology. - A minimum of 5 years work experience is also required with at least 3 years of solid experience in a laboratory or engineering position. - Ability to lift 60 + pounds. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Good organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work environment. - Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - Experience with basic tools including drills, saws, hand tools, multi-meters data loggers, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. - Must be a self-starter, and be able to work independently to accomplish tasks. Desired Qualifications: - It is highly preferred that the candidate have exposure to motorized products.
