SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate HR Manager to lead our team in our manufacturing and production facility in Mounds View, MN. You will be a hands-on player-coach responsible for implementing employee-centric HR practices and objectives to drive a high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, and standards. We are passionate about attracting, retention, developing and engaging a strong workforce. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the day-to-day function of a small U.S. HR/payroll department Manage HR programs such as performance and talent management, employee relations, HR policies, compensation, payroll, benefits, leave administration, occupational health and safety, records retention, and implementation of state and federal workplace requirements Collaborate closely with the HR Manager for Canada and Europe to facilitate consistent and complimentary processes across the organization Provide coaching and support to business leaders and employees Conduct investigations and address any employee issues Partner with managers to engage in best practices around recruiting and hiring to provide an outstanding candidate and onboarding experience Oversee and audit bi-weekly U.S. payroll Manage employee health and welfare and retirement benefit plans, including annual renewals and open enrollment Oversee LOA s and workers' compensation claims Manage HR compliance and tax reporting and audits (5500 filings, 401k audits, EEO-1 and VETS reporting, Affirmative Action Plan, 1095/1094 filings, Non-Discrimination testing, tax withholding filings, etc.)
