Job Description: Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer II/III Location: Moses Lake, WA Reporting to: Manufacturing Engineer Manager On-Site/Hybrid/Remote:On-Site Travel Required: 0% Main Duties and Responsibilities Perform well in team-based activities including product and process design. Able to work well in a fast, self-directed work environment managing their personal tasks to ensure that project timelines and objectives are met. Must have a good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and have a good track record of developing and implementing process improvements. Root cause identification through data analysis. Develop and implement improvements for short term and long term. Multi-task and interact effectively within cross-functional teams. Develops monitors and improves processes to achieve company objectives. Required Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Engineering (ABET certified): Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Industrial. Other degrees will be considered with appropriate experience. Prior experience in project management is required. This experience may include NPD and large scale/scope engineering change for current products. Must be able to manage workload for multiple projects at once. Must have a proven history of working independently with minimal direct supervision. Demonstrated team player and team leader qualities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to develop and monitor measurable process for process improvement and root cause identification. Excellent problem-solving skills (5Y, Ishikawa, FTA). Manufacturing process experience with one or more of following: hydraulics, steel, fabrication, electrical, powertrain. 4 + years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Typical work hours will be four 10-hour days, Monday - Thursday. Candidates should expect to work additional hours/days as necessary to ensure successful project completion. A general knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in SolidWorks is desirable. The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annual.
