Abbott Senior Finance Analyst in Moscow, Russia

We are currently looking for the replacement of Senior Financial Analyst to support Veropharm operations function in Moscow, Russia.

This position is one of key value-added role within Operations Finance that supports manufacturing and supply chain functions for 3 production sites and drive financial ownership, efficiency and improvement initiatives.

You will be responsible for timely and accurate financial planning and reporting of inventory and consolidation of P&L for 3 manufacturing sites.

Additionally, you will be providing inventory analysis and support production and supply planning from finance point of view.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Consolidation and deep analysis of inventory forecast and actuals, improvement plans preparation and presentation to management. Scope includes Month-End Close, Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Plan.

  • Consolidation of financials (P&L and BS) of Veropharm manufacturing sites.

  • Develop budgets for operations projects supporting Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecasts. Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers in support of business decisions. Conduct regular financial reviews with project managers to communicate financial performance and business issues.

  • Provide ad-hoc analyses to support complex decision making within global manufacturing operations and present recommendations to management.

  • Support Month-End Close process including journal entries preparation, communications with global functions, and reporting of monthly results to management.

  • Identify areas that can be improved and constructively propose new solutions that drive efficiencies. Develop and utilize sound financial processes to drive improved business performance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

  • 4+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience

  • Advanced level of proficiency with Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, other functionalities)

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate

  • Ability to articulate financial results based on audience

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

PREFERRED

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or related discipline

  • Progressive accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience

  • Experience with SAP

  • Ability to manage tight time commitments in high-pressure situations

  • Ability to work effectively under uncertainties and flexibility to meet changing priorities in a proactive manner

  • Strong results orientation and bias for action including a high degree of initiative and self-motivation in understanding business needs and leading others to meet those needs
