Job Description

P&G is looking for a person who loves to resolve technical issues and support ongoing processes to join our IT team as an Operations Specialist. This position is an important part of our Data team and plays a critical role in keeping existing solutions up and running.

The mission of an Operation Specialist at P&G is to support existing applications (ETL, data harmonization and visualization) in the local data lake and work with internal business users from Sales to ensure issue resolution within aligned timings. You will take part in day-to-day local data lake operations and ensure a high level of data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Work with end users on their issue resolution

  • Be part of the DevOps team to sustain stable operations

  • Implement requested changes within the supported data pipeline processes in the local data lake

  • Identify, investigate, and escalate system or data quality issues in ETL and data harmonization processes, distribute issues to respective escalation contacts

  • Provide technical support for cloud-based solutions

  • Support and educate business users from Sales

  • Write documentation for existing and new processes

Job Qualifications

Mandatory

  • The job requires you to be based in Russia

  • Basic knowledge of Python (NumPy, Pandas) and SQL

  • A university degree (DipHE) is required

  • Good command of English (Intermediate or higher level)

  • Attention to detail and readiness to support routine operations

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and with others

Nice to have (desired experience)

  • Any experience in IT operations

  • Any experience in data transformation

  • Any experience with Power BI or alternatives
