rrPosition Summary:

r Event Safety/Security Officer provides a multitude of services that provides a safe and secure environment for the university community for events happening throughout campus. This position also plays a key role in establishing and strengthening relationships with on campus and off campus stakeholders through providing exemplary customer service.

Administrative Operations mission is to provide stewardship of multi-use facilities, administration of conferences, events and activities, business services and solutions while implementing a culture of safety benefiting the education of students, recruitment of faculty, staff and students and continued enrollment efforts.

rrMinimum Qualifications:

r Experience:

  • Using common office computer applications including word-processing, spreadsheet, email and browser applications.
  • Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals.
  • Following documented policies and procedures.

rrPreferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of safety and security operations best practices.
  • 1 year experience as a safety/security officer.
  • Experience that shows ability to communicate effectively in oral and in written communication.

  • Ability to move about and between venues for extended periods of time up to a full day of work.
  • Work inside and outside as required.
