Summary:

The Food Services Cook II is responsible for the preparation of foods according to the standardized recipes, and production methods, Ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage and daily quality control checks, Works multiple production stations and conducts quality control checks on taste, temperature and presentation on patient, cafeteria, and catering foods, Trains and orients selected staff on food production and safety and sanitation practices, Is lead production in absence of Executive Chef according to facility, Performs other duties as necessary. Requires ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire.
