Description and Requirements

Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Manufacturing Design, Engineering & CAD, Animation/Media/Web Creation, Science/Medical, Oil & Gas, and Finance. To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are looking to enhance our team with additional talent. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with education/experience necessary to develop multiple software applications for our Workstations and supporting devices.

As part of the Workstation Development team, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop clean, maintainable code and provide comprehensive technical documentation.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in server-side and client-side debugging techniques, .NET database access methods, and SQL.

  • Implement and develop comprehensive AI models, including their testing and validation within AI infrastructure.

  • Passionate to learn and be on top of cyber security threats and trends.

  • Perform in-depth analysis of security issues in Lenovo products and resolve critical vulnerabilities.

  • Experience working with test automation frameworks like Junit, Selenium etc. is a plus.

  • Understand CVE, CWE and CVSS scoring for vulnerabilities.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and CPU technologies.

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Python, or C#.

  • 2+ years of experience working with security frameworks.

  • 2+ years of software quality assurance.

  • 3+ years of experience inAI, machine learning, and data analysis.

  • 3+ years of experience with web development frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Experience related to NLP, LLMs and GenAI applications is a plus.

  • Experience working with Linux/UNIX operating systems with the knowledge of system fundamentals.

  • Ability to work withcross organizations resources, stakeholders and be able to resolve problems in the solution effectively.

This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates that are already local to Raleigh, NC are preferred.
