Description and Requirements

The Sales Leader is responsible for delivering against revenue and profit targets, world-class partner experience and overall customer satisfaction. This leader is critical in aligning to the NA strategy across the Lenovo IDG portfolio and all routes to market.

Based in the Morrisville, NC, the IDG Specialist Leader will be responsible for leading a sales team while developing and executing on the aggressive customer R&D and acquisition strategy for Lenovo’s accounts. The ideal candidate comes with agility; direct industry experience with proven success building trusted relationships across all levels, both internally and externally. Under your leadership, you will motivate an Morrisville based team through innovative coaching and development; inspire creative thinking, problem solving and empowering an environment where we believe great ideas and unique perspectives come from anywhere.

Critical focus will be placed on managing existing accounts and growing new lines of business while delivering on aggressive sales objectives selling Lenovo's IDG portfolio. This position is critical to our overall coverage and go-to-market strategy and requires strategic deal management and overall BMS to deliver against high-performance business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and cultivate client relationships as well as achieving profit and revenue objectives

  • Be a leader in building and developing processes driving client satisfaction, operational efficiency, new account development, repeat sales, product upgrades, problem resolution, sales campaign programs, and business controls to maximize results

  • Ensure that products, services and solutions recommended to clients will fulfill their needs

  • Manage a team of inside sales representatives

  • Acquisition and transition opportunities

  • Manage all aspects of complex sales and drive to close.

Preferred Requirements:

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent professional work experience

  • At least 2 years previous sales team leadership and/or management required

Basic Requirements:

  • Previous field (outside) sales experience and inside sales experience preferred

  • PC Industry/IT Hardware sales preferred

  • Must have worked in a quota-carrying sales environment

  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to influence others.

  • Demonstrated experience in showing quarter over quarter growth in sales revenue with large accounts

* This position requires work in office at our Morrisville, NC campus and work from home weekly.
