Description

Robert Half has partnered with a growing company in Morrisville, NC to assist them in hiring a newly created Director of Finance. This individual will be a crucial part of the team, taking charge of various financial planning and analysis activities. The role involves close collaboration with senior leaders to shape and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all finance operations including budgets, forecasts, investments, audits, and corporate strategy.

  • Strategize, formulate, and administer finance-related policies and guidelines.

  • Conduct a detailed analysis to aid in strategic decision making related to cost efficiency, optimal capital structure etc.

  • Collaborate with the executive management team to provide input on company-wide strategic planning initiatives and decision-making.

  • Oversee activities related to fundraising and provide guidance on potential return on investment.

  • Ensure full transparency over all financial performance. Coordinate and produce all necessary financial reports.

  • Navigate the complexities of financial regulations and legislation, affecting the business for tax benefits and incentives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred.

  • Substantive experience in a leadership role overseeing finance operations.

  • Strong understanding of budget planning/forecasting and cash flow management is necessary.

  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting protocols.

  • Strong leadership skills, with stalwart resolve in a variety of demanding situations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a proven ability to navigate various levels of management.

  • Proficient in finance software applications.

    Requirements

• The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Director of Finance.

• Strong proficiency in Budget Processes, Capital Management, and Cash Flow Analysis is required.

• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is essential.

• Must have a solid background in Budgeting and Forecasting.

• Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Variance Analysis is necessary.

• Experience in the creation of Annual Operating Plans and Annual Operating Budgets is essential.

• Knowledge of KPI Reporting is required.

• Experience with NetSuite software is preferred.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.

• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CPA or CFA) is highly preferred.

• The ability to interact with senior management and influence company strategies is required
