[Essential Duties and Accountabilities: [To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. [ Regular and punctual attendance is required. [ Flexible to work in any area of the operation. [ Must be able to comprehend English and follow direction from team leader, supervisor and/or manager. [ Must work safely abiding by all safety protocols. [ Inspect all safety equipment prior to production start-up (E-Stops, safety lights, PPE). [ Must perform all instructions as listed in the Job Element. [ Follow standard work as described in the Job Elements for each operation and produce quality parts. [o Quality - meet quality expectation, identify quality issues, engage in problem solving and Quality Circle [meetings. [ Must produce standard quantities upon completion of training. [o Productivity - meet productivity standards, identifies product flow. [ Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction. [ Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. [ Perform minor preventative machine maintenance such as oiling machines and do all necessary cleaning on equipment and work area. [ Follow the non-conforming material procedure when it is found and notify the team leader. [ Project a positive outlook in conversation and conduct. [ Comply to all company policies which include safety and environmental directives. [ Able to work in a fast-paced team environment without direct supervision.
