Atlantic Health System Practice Manager III, Hematology Oncology MMC in Morristown, New Jersey

Responsible for supervising daily operations to focus on staff management, responding to physician, patient, and staff concerns, and budget management. Monitors and resolves customer service issues and maximize revenue cycle collections. Establishes and implements shared priorities and goals for providing optimal customer service, increasing operational efficiency, ensuring financial viability, and providing high-quality health care services.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Ensures and manages guidelines, policies, and procedures in adherence to the organization and establishes protocols for day-to-day operations.

  2. Oversees and maintains supplies and equipment and maintains appropriate inventory management and budgetary controls.

  3. Administers the financial policies and procedures governing cash collections and reconciliation and ensures necessary cash controls are monitored.

  4. Orients, trains, assigns, schedules, directs, and supervises departmental staff.

  5. Supervises and manages the exposure of communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents to minimize risk and follows a standard health precaution.

  6. Reviews, evaluates, and monitors work schedules, workflow, and duty assignments of the staff and monitors updates when required.

  7. Monitors patient complaints and issues to identify opportunities for service improvement.

  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field.

  2. 5 or more years experience in Healthcare or relevant area. Lab experience preferred.

Preferred:

  1. Master's degree in Healthcare or related field.
