POSITION PURPOSE:

The Integrated Services Director is responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of complex projects and operations across multiple departments within a highly regulated environment. The Director will assist the Program Manager in critical decision-making and overall program operations, providing support in the development of work schedules, project deliverables, and the integration of work activities across various organizations. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in project integration, operations management, and team leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with Program Managers, senior managers and supervisors to develop and implement plans to achieve scheduled work scope goals to achieve mission objectives

  • Develops and implements project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies

  • Ensures activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations (i.e., DOE), and policies

  • Directs, coordinates, and provides technical direction to program personnel ensuring all personnel are properly trained, qualified, and motivated to perform their duties

  • Develops and implements strategies to achieve project goals and objectives

  • Ensures compliance with administrative and reporting requirements, deadlines, and other required documents as appropriate

  • Holds regular staff meetings with project teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or business is required. A master's degree in business or related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing an organization that includes bargaining unit operations.

  • Experience managing budgets and realization of significant cost savings to the client and/or significant life-cycle cost or liability reductions.

  • Experience setting strategic objectives, resolving problems, developing innovative approaches, and implementing changes with a track record of driving measurable results.

  • Experienced in creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace with environmental sustainability and ethical governance.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Skilled in developing and implementing strategies to promote social responsibility

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write plans, procedures, routine reports, operating instructions and correspondence.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly on a technical level.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Special Requirements:

  • Possess an active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear

  • Ability to perform repetitive movements of the fingers, hands, wrists and arms

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This position requires both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to normal office conditions when not in the field. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When performing outdoor duties, employee may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, loud noise, or be required to wear personal protective equipment.
