West Virginia Employer Concrete Finisher in Morgantown, West Virginia
Concrete Finisher-30 temporary, FT laborers from (04/01/24-11/30/2024). Smooth & finish surfaces of poured concrete such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads,or curbs using a variety of hand/power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, gutters & related activities as per SOC/OES 47-2051.00. Tools/equipment provided at no cost or deposit. Transportation to and from worksites provided by the employer. Must be Able to lift/carry 50lbs, work bending & standing positions for extended periods and in all types of weather including extreme heat/cold. Upon offer of employment & prior to orientation all hires, both U.S. & H-2B must submit to and pass employer-paid drug screening. Min wage $24.34/hr (OT@ $36.51/hr) or higher based on exp, tenure, job performance. min 40hr+/wk. M-F 7AM - 4PM, Sat as needed. Wages computed using single workweek & paid weekly. Jobs throughout Monongalia, Marion, Wetzel counties and the Northern West Virginia Nonmetropolitan area. H-2B workers reimbursed within the first workweek for all VISA processing, border crossing/related expenses, including any mandated by govt. Transportation/subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of work will be reimbursed no later than the time workers complete 50% of the period covered by the job order. Upon completion of work period employer shall pay cost of return transport/subsistence home/ place of original departure for work, unless worker not returning due to subsequent employment. Transport payment/reimbursement equal to most economical common carrier for distance involved. Daily subsistence at $14.00/day during travel to a max of $59.00/day w/receipts.
