Foundational & Graduate Studies in Education at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a part-time position as a Graduate Assistant (FGSE). The anticipated start date is August 19, 2024. Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide-range of outdoor recreation activities. Additionally, Morehead State University is relatively close to a number of larger cities including Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, and Cincinnati, OH. RESPONSIBILITIES: The graduate assistant in the Department of Foundational and Graduate Studies in Education is stationed on the 5th floor of Ginger Hall. The graduate assistant is responsible for assisting faculty and department chair with research projects, grading and teaching. GA’s will be expected to be on time for scheduled work hours, and conduct themselves in a professional manner.REQUIREMENTS: Must be admitted to a Graduate Program. Must be enrolled in and maintain at least nine graduate hours per semester. Must be able to work an average of 20 hours per week.
