Lowe's Sr. Director Associate Relations in Mooresville, North Carolina

The primary purpose of this role is to design and lead the Associate Relations function as the end to end owner of all services provided, including advice, investigations, accountability, insights, and advocacy visits. Specifically, this role will ensure AR focuses on proactive advice, counsel and ensuring escalations are resolved timely and in accordance with Lowe's policies and Core Behaviors and ensuring the operational efficiency of the activities within the AR organization while maintaining an optimal footprint of the required operations to run these activities and selects and optimizes the best operational model to deliver these services. The Sr Director Associate Relations will partner with field HR and Operations leaders to ensure AR is providing recommendations that remove administrative and transactional barriers from business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide Associate Relations through evolution to become a proactive partner and service provider to the business.

•Lead all Associate Relations operations including complex and non-complex investigations, advice, accountability, insights and advocacy visit services within Associate Relations.

•In partnership with the reporting and analytics team, provide executive reporting and insights around systemic people and process related issues which create barriers to diversity of thought and generate action plans to improve overall relationships among employees.

•Provides expert advice and guidance to business partners regarding best practices, policies, and employment laws in partnership with the Legal team.

•Works collaboratively with key stakeholders to assess the impact of policies and practices and make recommendations to address areas of inconsistency or practice improvement.

•Oversees teams that conduct complex including high-risk and/or sensitive confidential investigations related to employee issues and claims and intervenes as necessary

•Oversees the teams the handle noncomplex investigations to ensure they are properly conducted, documented and resolved.

•Analyzes workforce metrics to make recommendations on policy and process improvements to foster a more productive workforce.

•Establishes and maintains effective and proactive relationship with Labor Relations function.

•Provides thought leadership on factors likely to shift the industry and business. Understands the potential impact on the business and creates a compelling vision on how the enterprise should position itself for competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or equivalent

10 Years of experience in multi-state, retail corporate environment with a focus on associate relations

7 Years of experience managing and investigating employee complaints

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $151,200.00 - $252,100.00 annually
