Roush Yates Engines Manufacturing Planner in Mooresville, North Carolina

Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions is a precision CNC manufacturing organization with expertise in multi axis machining of metal parts with complex geometries. We produce machined parts for the automotive, aerospace, military, medical and industrial industries. Our manufacturing and quality management systems are dedicated to exceeding our customer's expectations through the continuous improvement of our processes, procedures and through the use of state-of-the-art technologies. We are searching for a Manufacturing Planner. The Manufacturing Planner will create production plans and modify as required to satisfy customer orders in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Work order creation based upon customer purchase order requirements.
  • Create part records, routings, and bill of materials based upon quoted information and input from internal departments.
  • Manage work orders through the approval process.
  • Update management at any point there is an issue, question, or concern regarding the production plan.
  • Maintain daily PPC check list and distribute to managers
  • Enter repetitive monthly internal work orders as well as build-to-inventory work orders for BPO agreements.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area.
  • Assist Sales department as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in developing project plans and timelines, implementing project tasks and evaluating project outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Position Requirements

  • For ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
