ASRC Federal Holding Company DevSecOps Engineer-5K Sign-on bonus in Moorestown, New Jersey

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration, and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer to support multiple agile software development projects for our Moorestown, NJ office.

Responsibilities: As a DevSecOps Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize all DevOps tools and processes in use across our programs ON-PREMISE . You will oversee the development and maintenance of a secure, automated platform that facilitates efficient and effective software development workflows. Your role includes ensuring the continuous improvement of process automation, overseeing the deployment of applications, and managing the automated configuration of Devops tools and resources.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Support full suite of DevOps tool sets including but not limited to those implemented during planning, coding, building, testing, release, deploying, operations & monitoring

  • Working with internal customers to troubleshoot tools and issues related to integrations with other internal systems

  • Integrating, automating & maintaining the security posture of our environments

  • Developing and automating repeatable tasks through use of scripting languages and vendor APIs

  • Working with development and infrastructure teams to ensure processes and procedures are put in place for the automation of deployment and validation of releases

  • Capable in debugging through a pipeline and system issues, skilled in identifying performance bottlenecks, spotting anomalous system behavior, and figuring out root cause of issues in the pipeline and systems

  • Collaborate across teams to consolidate and simplify DevOps tools and services, then support other infrastructure engineers using them

  • Experience with containerization strategies in support of CI/CD pipeline stage execution, and DevSecOps support tooling deployments

  • Experience working with container run time technologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field) or equivalent related work experience.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in DevOps.

  • Monitoring container, hardware, and VM metrics for the purposes of maintaining system health and identifying thresholds for scaling

  • Experience with configuration management tooling

  • Able to address security vulnerabilities through configuration and patching

  • Must have ability to

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Coordinate several concurrent tasks

  • Interface with users in a pleasant and tactful manner

  • Be self-motivated

  • Quickly learn new technologies

  • Occasionally work non-standard hours as required

  • To be a Team Player with the ability to work well independently with limited direction
