ASRC Federal Holding Company Contracts Administrator in Moorestown, New Jersey

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration, and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

AFMS, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Contracts Specialist.

This role is a hybrid position that will be two days in the Moorestown, NJ office and three days remote.

Key Role

In response to the significant growth of our business, AFMS is adding a new Contracts Specialist position to our Contracts Department.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the contract administration life cycle from cradle to grave; including, but not limited to, supporting proposal activities, leading negotiations, and managing contracts through closeout.

  • Manage complex contract requirements in support of major proposals and awarded programs.

  • Serve as the primary Contracts point of contact with our customers for assigned opportunities/ programs.

Requirements :

Required Qualifications:

  • Education Level Required- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, related field.

  • 3+ years of related experience in contracts administration

  • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

  • Ability to review and understand fundamental Government contract terms

  • Must be a team player and have the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers without appreciable direction

  • Ability to represent the company as the prime contact on contracts or projects and interact with internal/ external personnel on matters often requiring the coordination of activities across organizational lines.

  • Must be detail-oriented, have strong business acumen, be proactive, responsive, and have the ability to multitask

  • Must be flexible and able to comply with new/evolving processes/procedures

  • Must be experienced with MS Office Products (e.g. Word, Excel), and capable of learning and using company-specific programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Government/DoD contracting/negotiating experience with a solid working knowledge of FAR/DFARS

  • Experience with Complex/Cost Type contracts (e.g. CPFF, CPIF, CPAF) preferred
