ASRC Federal Holding Company Application Software Developer in Moorestown, New Jersey

ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Ship Self-Defense System in Moorestown, NJ.

Responsibilities: Work in a collaborative team using agile software development methodology, performing the following tasks: Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Research problems and develop solutions.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related engineering discipline

  • US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

  • 2-4 years' experience in software development or maintenance

  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team

  • Experience developing software with Java or C++ Familiar with Agile development methodologies

  • Familiar with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins

  • Familiar with Linux and UNIX development and test environments

  • Familiar with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse or VSCode

  • Familiar with UML syntax and its use in Model-based tools like Rapsody

  • Familiar with Git version control system

  • Familiar with issue tracking systems like JIRA or Trello

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the following

  • XUnit architecture testing fir unit testing like Google Test, jUnit, cppUnit Lite.

  • Tcl/Tk

  • Ada

  • Atlassian tool suite including Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence

  • Data Distribution Service (DDS)

  • DevSecOps and Automation tool experience like SonarQube and Jenkins
