VectorCSP AEGIS Engineer in Moorestown, New Jersey

Job Summary:

VectorCSP is seeking an Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse engineering professionals. This position is in Mount Laurel, NJ. The qualified candidate will provide Engineering and Technical support to the System Engineering Task with an integrated team of engineers, technologists and military veterans dedicated to providing independent quality assessments of developmental computer programs critical to the defense of the United States and Foreign Military Sales.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • 0 - 6 Years of experience depending on education level

  • Technical writing experience

    Essential Duties:

  • Support the U.S. AEGIS Navy TECHREP customer in various technical aspects involving the integration of the AEGIS Weapon System with Ballistic Missile Defense functionality in an AEGIS Combat System environment

  • Customer support with AEGIS program development

  • Review of technical specifications and related documents to ensure technical accuracy and applicability

  • Witnessing and assessment of tests conducted by the program developer and / or other Government agencies

  • Support test implementation and execution

  • Conduct specification requirements and test data analysis

  • Analyze and document observed test deficiencies and track problem resolutions

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Experience with DoD and or US Navy/AEGIS Combat System.

  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Demonstrate the willingness and desire to further gain technical knowledge

  • Possess excellent oral, written, and leadership skills and work independently.
