Mortgage Connect, LP Sr. Software Developer in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Job Duties:

  • Designing and developing web-based tools and applications to support all phases of Mortgage Connect's business operations;
  • Performing event-driven programming within multi-tiered Client/Server architectures;
  • Building applications using a wide range of programming languages, including C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and Team Foundation Server;
  • Translating application requirements into a robust well designed technical solution;
  • Using Rapid Applications Development techniques employing object oriented design and development to produce solutions;
  • Performing unit testing on software applications;
  • Debugging software and fix defects uncovered during the testing process;
  • Working with application analysts or coordinators, test engineers, and technical writers to ensure the successful rollout of new applications or features;
  • Providing mentorship to junior members of the Software Engineering team; and
  • Working with Software Architects on implementation strategies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related role working in an Agile (Scrum) environment developing applications using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WebAPI, RESTful Service, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, SQL Server, Crystal Reports, Visio, TFS and FileZilla.
