DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Michael Baker International is seeking an experienced Senior Director of FP&A to join our Finance team. This is a highly influential role and is a strategic business partner who will provide financial support across the entire organization. This role will help grow the business through advanced financial modeling and development of business analytics to support strategic growth opportunities. This role requires a leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the data, systems, and models while partnering with the business to drive data-based decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO  * Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis function and the development of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial modeling.  * Become a strategic partner on financial matters across the organization, providing guidance and assistance to all functional groups.  * Partner with leadership team to drive business strategies through financial goals, metrics, and objectives.  * Prepare executive presentations and recommendations to senior management and Board of Directors.  * Support Corporate leadership with financial management and modeling for their functional area and projects.  * Prepare financial reporting including financial statements, KPI reporting, and trend analysis, including explanation of results and actionable changes to positively influence outcomes.  * Team with Corporate Accounting team to perform monthly accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger (including accruals, expense tracking)  * Work directly with Vertical Line CFOs in support of their businesses and create a culture of Finance excellence.  * Support Capital Expenditure investments including ROI, budgeting, and approval processes.  * Supervise a team consisting of an FP&A Manager and financial analysts.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS  * A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting with a minimum of 5 years FP&A experience.  * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline, MBA preferred.  * Comfortable with dealing with various financial/reporting tools (Oracle suite, Hyperion).  * Strong understanding of financial processes; Experience in making existing processes/ procedures more efficient and streamlined.  * Experience with financial modeling, including summarization of outcomes to executive leaders.  * Demonstrate excellence in business analytics and tools.  * Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, relationship development, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present at all levels within the business.  * Ability to clearly communicate ideas and recommended actions to all levels of the organization, using negotiation, persuasion, and discretion to accomplish objectives and deliver results.  * Ability to drive projects to completion in a complex, deadline driven environment.  * Demonstrate leadership qualities, excellent organizational and time management skills.

COMPENSATION The approximate compensation range for this position is $175,00 to $225,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
