DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: DESCRIPTION Michael Baker International is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager to join the team in our Moon Township, PA office. Under general supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible, through subordinate construction personnel, for overall management direction of several construction projects.

The Sr. Construction Manager will be involved with Michael Baker's CSX project team for the duration of this assignment. The project will consist of an 8700' brick tunnel owned by CSX under a roadway with light rail in downtown Baltimore. The position is on-site with hours to follow the construction schedule which is currently planned to be four - 13 hours shift. Assignment will start approximately October 2024 to end of year 2025.

Duties may include the following but are not limited to: * Evaluate specifications to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction. * Assembles members of organizations (supervisory, clerical, engineering, technical, field, and other workers) during projects * Develops an oversight budget and staffing plan for the construction oversight activities. * Coordinates with stakeholders and subconsultants to engage in planning and execution of oversight procedures, interpreting specifications, and executing correspondence with the contractor. * Verifies appropriate project documentation including correspondence with the contractor. * Prepares complex correspondence to the contractor or others including responses to claim notification. * Leads regularly scheduled Project Control Meeting with the contractor and owner * Oversees work in progress to ensure that workmanship, conforms with specifications and plans, adherence to schedule. * Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. * Verifies construction activities within federal, state, and local rules and regulations. * Travel to Baltimore is required, currently weekly. * Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Four-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management * 10+ years of construction management or project management experience or other related experience within construction projects * Minimum of EIT or CMIT * CCM preferred. * LEED AP certified. * OSHA 30-hr Certified. * Tunnel experience, rail tunnel preferred.

COMPENSATION The approximate compensation range for this position is$93,849.60 to $147,825.60 This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location. * This assignment classified as exempt so all eligible OT hours would go through the OT bonus process and paid monthly. * Mileage is reimbursable for this assignment in Baltimore and subject to follow client contract requirements.
