Eaton Corporation Kinaxis System Architect - Supply Chain Planning in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Position Overview

Eaton is expanding its Technology team supporting the Supply Chain organization to take advantage of recent and future technology investments.

As the System Architect you will have the opportunity to define and communicate a shared architectural vision for Supply Chain Planning- Kinaxis/RapidResponse platform. You will partner across the enterprise as the subject matter expert to deliver Kinaxis/RapidResponse ensuring alignment to the broader enterprise architecture. In this highly visible role, you will be instrumental in the success of maximizing the Materials Management offering by validating solutions under development/implementation support current and future business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and agile teams to consider solutions, confirm technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on solutions.

  • Lead technical discussions on corporate technology strategy and direction.

  • Partner cross-functionally to support the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, and provide voice of the customer within Kinaxis/RapidResponse processes.

  • Lead and participate in the planning, definition, and high-level design of product solutions and architectural alternatives for Kinaxis/RapidResponse platform.

  • Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines

  • Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches

  • Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements

  • Consider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions.

  • Participate in solution/incremental planning, product demos, and inspect/adapt events

  • Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation

Qualifications and Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in IT Supply Chain Materials Management leading project delivery with a focus on supply planning and demand management

  • 5+ years as a developer, system solution architect, or engineer/functional lead on projects of similar scale, using the Kinaxis/RapidResponse platform

  • Experience leading 2+ full life cycle Kinaxis supply chain planning implementations in large complex environments.

  • Preferred Kinaxis Certifications (Authoring Level II, Integration Level I, Analytics level II, Admin Level II, Solution Architect I and Solution Architect II)

  • Practical knowledge of and experience working within agile scrum and/or Kanban delivery teams.

  • Familiarity with modern technology architecture principles including APIs, microservices, and cloud services.

  • Strong understanding of Materials Management (Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization).

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
