Responsibilities • Direct communication with asset managers and institutional joint venture partners • Overseeing lender reporting requirements and preparation of necessary documents • Acting as a liaison with outside tax accountants • Playing a critical role in new acquisitions and dispositions • Preparing monthly financial reports • Collaborating with Collections Manager to monitor Tenant Accounts Receivable • Reviewing all tenant monthly billings • Reviewing and approving vendor disbursements • Assisting with calculation of monthly and quarterly distributions and capital calls • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial analyses as required by Management • Preparing year-end operating expense and real estate tax estimates and reconciliations Requirements • Must possess a minimum of three years of experience in the field of accounting • Experience with bank reconciliations is required • Familiarity with the General Ledger system is necessary • Ability to create and manage journal entries • Experience in performing month-end close activities • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is required
