Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for electronics, avionics or electromechanics technician to join our team. We propose a job that integrates testing, troubleshooting and on field installations of our flight simulators. The candidate will be specialized with the flight controls and the motion system. The person chosen will work closely with the simulator’s engineers, the manufacturing group and to travel in foreign countries.

The role we are offering you:

  • Measure, integrate and calibrate hardware and software of flight control and motion systems. Including some electrotechnical adjustments.

  • Identify and rectify hardware and software problems with product engineering or the manufacturing department.

  • To be responsible to run the aircraft systems validation tests.

  • To be responsible to prepare and have the flight control and motion ready for delivery.

  • To give technical support in the acceptance and qualification phases.

  • To interact with the customer, pilots, and engineers.

  • Available to give phone assistance on occasional emergencies.

  • Available to travel to effectuate deliveries at customer sites.

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • CEGEP degree in electronics, avionics, electromechanics or equivalent.

  • Good capacities in troubleshooting (hardware and software)

  • Strong aptitudes to take projects in charge, to work autonomously in a bonded team.

  • Good communication skills

  • Proactive personality with a strong innovative mind.

Will be considered as an asset:

  • Knowledge in the calibration of electromechanics systems.

  • Working experience on flight simulators

  • Knowledge on different aircraft systems.

  • Knowledge of CAE’s technologies
