CAE USA INC Financial Analyst - Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

Role and Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst on the Future Aircrew Training ( FAcT ) program, you will support the Program Management effort for this historic multi billion -dollar CAE project .  Sounds like something you are up for ? In this role, the Financial Analyst - FAcT will be responsible to:

  • Assist the FAcT program for all financial analysis ( revenue forecast, profit , cash flow etc.).

  • Assist the financial analysts' team in several areas (all steps of monthly closing, preparation of various monthly and quarterly financial reports, etc.).

  • Verify and analyze monthly figures.

  • Work closely with management.

  • Participate in the annual budget and forecasting processes.

  • Support all contract negotiations with subcontractors and SkyAlyne

  • Price all contract changes

  • Participate in different special projects and ad hoc analyses.

    Qualifications :

  • University degree in accounting or finance.

  • Recognized accounting certification (CMA, CA, CGA).

  • Minimum of 6 years of previous financial analyst responsibilities, such as financial reporting and analyzing financial performance.

  • Capable of working on projects with little guidance.

  • Consolidation experience .

  • Creative mind/able to think outside of the box.

  • Good analytical and technical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization.

  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.

  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise and Oracle systems, an asset.

  • Fluency in English and French.
