Your Role at KIK- LAVO Division
Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, your main mandate will be to manage various projects related to production lines and manufacturing processes in order to improve the efficiency of the various manufacturing sectors, the quality of operations, equipment safety and the improvement of the plant's environmental performance.
What You''ll Be Doing?
Analyze and find solutions to recurring problems impacting production line performance;
Design parts related to the solutions found;
Define, manage and carry out improvement, maintenance and safety projects for all plant equipment;
Take charge of machine safety and lockout projects;
Manage the external manufacture of parts in support of the storekeeper;
Develop required automation modifications;
Supervise, when necessary, the interventions of external suppliers;
Follow-up to ensure that implemented solutions deliver the desired results;
Communicate and train operators and supervisors on implemented solutions;
Document the GuideTI CMMS software;
Assist production with daily monitoring of technical problems and ongoing improvements;

What You''ll Bring
Diploma Collegial Studies in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant experience
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in a unionized environment (asset)
Proficiency in Solidworks, Autocad 2D and MS Office suite (Excel and Word);
Knowledge of machined parts manufacturing
Knowledge of blowmolding / packaging (an asset)
Knowledge of CMMS software (GuideTI an asset)
Knowledge of padlocking (Cadlock being an asset)
Autonomous and structured
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good planning and organizational skills
French spoken and written
