Job Description Summary

The PAC Service PL Leader has the mission to contribute to Grid Automation (GA) growth by building a competitive portfolio of offerings meeting customer needs and an effective go-to-market strategy. This role reports to the GA Product Management Leader.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Life Cycle Management strategy for GA Products and Systems, upgrades growth plan, differentiated offerings, delivery model

  • Develop, in collaboration with Region Growth leaders, the Installed Base (IB) entitlement by product, by region

  • Develop, in collaboration with other GA Product Managers, the upgrade solutions and identify creative business models that will bring value to customers and enable GA to capture a high percentage of the IB market

  • Work with GA PL and R&D to integrate serviceability features in the design as well as develop retrofit, refurbishments, and upgrade kits for installed base

  • Develop and drive strategy and go-to-market strategy for Master Service Agreements, training, and Engineering and Consulting

  • Lead the customer application COE team to develop and deliver AAA solutions

  • Actively engage with customers to understand their business model, determine customers critical KPIs and use data to develop competitive offerings

  • Develop value proposition, market assessment, competition analysis, business case, product requirement documents, innovative business models

  • Develop, in collaboration with the region commercial teams, the growth plans and offerings roadmap based on customer specific needs

  • Develop, coach, and mentor the team to strengthen the overall business capabilities

  • Instill a culture of candor, accountability, passion for growth and differentiation

  • Drive co-creation and collaboration with customers and be at the forefront of the creative engagement that can result in innovative solutions

  • Understand competitors’ offerings, industry trends, customers’ behavior

  • Drive productive interactions with other GA Product Managers, R&D and product development, Technical Application Engineering and Commercial teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) from an Accredited University or College

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in closely related industry business administration function

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with a leading player in industrial protection and control/automation engineering or product management / service fields

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role
