Meta Sustainability Program Manager, Net Zero Supplier Engagement in Montpelier, Vermont

Summary:

Meta is hiring a Program Manager to join the Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering team. This role will support the net zero supplier engagement program, a critical contributor to Meta's 2030 Net Zero Commitment. This role will focus on engaging suppliers in the development of emissions reductions activities, ensuring alignment with and support from cross functional partners and supporting emissions data collection and analysis.We are looking for smart and flexible candidates who are enthusiastic about working on cross functional teams, have strong analytical skills, with critical thinking abilities and exemplary communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of GHG accounting including scope 3, supplier engagement on sustainability, GHG target setting and roadmap development in a fast paced, dynamic tech environment.

Required Skills:

Sustainability Program Manager, Net Zero Supplier Engagement Responsibilities:

  1. Drive engagement strategies with Meta’s selected suppliers on value chain GHG emissions reduction

  2. Analyze supplier GHG data, targets, roadmaps and solutions for trends, projections and decision-making

  3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. procurement teams and supplier managers) to deliver timely projects

  4. Scale the impact of suppliers and internal initiatives to accelerate value chain GHG emissions reduction

  5. Partner with cross functional teams to support the development and execution of new and existing GHG reduction initiatives

  6. Effectively communicate program progress internally

  7. Support development and implementation of net zero activities in sourcing and engineering processes

  8. Ability to travel (10%)

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Undergraduate degree in business, supply chain, environmental science, or related field

  2. 5+ years of experience in supply chain management

  3. Expertise in Contract negotiations, Supplier Management, Roadmap development, GHG accounting, and GHG target setting.

  4. Proven analytical experience to manage complex data, advanced Excel and data analytics proficiency.

  5. Project management skills with demonstrated experience to self-manage complex delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  6. Proven experience to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions

  7. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams, Engineering) and managing relationships with complex stakeholders

  8. Familiarity with global and sectoral sustainability initiatives.

  9. Understanding of Meta’s products and services.

  10. Proven communication skills.

  2. GHG software and tools operation experience

  3. Tableau proficiency

  4. Proficiency in electrical and electronics manufacturing sector

$115,000/year to $170,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
