What Innovation Technologies contributes to Cardinal Health

Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience.

Innovation Technologies consults commercial teams on opportunities to leverage innovative commercial technologies to achieve business objectives and activate new capabilities. Applying expert knowledge of market-leading solutions, this job family partners with business leaders, assesses opportunities for innovation and initiates the implementation of solutions leveraging Commercial Technologies teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product roadmap in building the data foundation

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and working with the development team to produce the appropriate solution by helping shape the backlog for development

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and manage expectations around milestones and schedule

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on release of software to ensure quality and provide necessary documentation and training to provide successful adoption

  • Encourage collaboration and proactively seek opportunities to improve collaboration

  • Assist with internal and external communication by transparently radiating information, especially relative to historical team metrics, progress towards Iteration and release goals, and team capacity

  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Deep understanding of database technologies, modeling and ETL pipelines

  • Preferred experience working with EHR data to garner clinical insights

  • Experience with FHIR a plus

  • High level understanding of large language models

  • Prior experience working with healthcare data required

  • Strong capability to manage multiple priorities

  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

  • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models

  • Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope

  • Projects may have significant and long-term impact

  • Provides solutions which may set precedent

  • Independently determines method for completion of new projects

  • Receives guidance on overall project objectives

  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Anticipated salary range: $119,800 - $171,100
