Johnson Controls Retail Regional Operations Manager in Montigny le Bretonneux, France

What you will do :

This role, reporting to the EMEA Operations Manager of JCI Retail Sensormatic Solutions, is focused on driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction through exceptional service operations for regional customers. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence, with responsibilities including setting goals to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost profitability. The candidate will need to build strong relationships with regional business leaders and implement tailored support service models for each country. Collaboration with other Regional Operations Managers.

How you will do it :

Establish, lead, and execute the service and support delivery strategy across the business’ suite of products and solutions for the assigned regional territory.

  • Determines resource strategy from human capital to technology and leverages most cost effective, quality solution including outsourcing and management of third-party providers.

  • Ensures consistent adoption of implementing and managing standardized systems, tools and processes for implementation and support services to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays while ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting financial goals.

  • Plans, organizes, and directs all activities related to installing, supporting and monitoring devices, managing incoming and outgoing data flows and documenting business requirements required to operate an information solutions business.

  • Follows and support direction from the EMEA PMO in terms of enhance project management capabilities associated with implementations and ensures all necessary implementation planning deliverables are in place following RSS PMO policy such as the scope document, project plans, schedules, budgets, communication plans, and resource plans.

  • Follows guidance for post-sales technical support services according to the EMEA GSD team.

  • Develops and manages an operations dashboard along with reports that provide status and trends against both leading and lagging key performance indices from implementation to support and service.

  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality products and services as well as seamless customer service.

  • Collaborates with other regional managers to implement best practices in service delivery operations.

  • Represent the company as appropriate in its relationship with major customers, suppliers, government agencies, etc.

What we look for :

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Operations Management, IT, or a related field.

  • 15+ years’ work-related experience managing a service environment.

  • Experience building and executing on a regional service delivery model.

  • Strong judgment and proven ability to balance growth, retention, and service targets against operational capability.

  • Strong proficiency in implementing scalable business processes and driving organization wide process improvement.

  • Regional experience with ability to think across disciplines, industries, cultures and scenarios.

  • Experience is supporting sales activities for new customers.
