Location: Montgomeryville Strive Center and surrounding home and community needs.

*Status: Full-time/Part Time *

First Children Services is currently seeking a Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to join our team! We proudly supported our focus on education in a new partnership with Capella University, where our employees can take advantage of free CEUs and certificates.

Day to day primary functions: 

  • Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings

``` - Read and implement individualized treatment plans

``` - Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner

``` - Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills

```{=html}

``` - Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors

``` - Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes

What we require from you: 

  • Minimum of a high school diploma and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified

``` - 1 year minimum of working with children 

```{=html}

``` - 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred but not required 

```{=html}

``` - Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation

``` - Strong interpersonal and documentation skills

``` - Willingness to accept and implement feedback 

```{=html}

``` - Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
