Job Title – Tax & Compliance Accountant
Location – Montgomery, AL or Woodstock, GA, (on-site only)

What You Will Do
Researches tax issues and interprets regulations in multiple jurisdictions to determine applicability to our organization.
Reconciles payroll tax filings and assists with annual W-2 and 1099 reporting.
Prepares returns such as Sales & Use, Business Licenses, and State registrations.
Assists in the preparation of annual reports and other state compliance filings in new tax jurisdictions when appropriate.
Assists with financial and tax audits by preparing accurate documentation requests as needed.
Possesses analytical skills to research and prepare special reports as requested by management.
Stays aware of current tax and technology developments to help maintain data integrity and improve efficiencies.
Supports continuous improvement in the department by reviewing, recommending, and implementing better methods for existing processes.
Supports the accounting team by performing other assigned duties as needed.
Working Conditions – Office setting, Full-time, Periodic travel may be required to satellite offices.

Education / Experience - Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience preferred. CPA licensure is ideal.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Strong Analytical skills with a working knowledge of current tax laws. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment. Self-starter with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, verifies own work to ensure quality work product.
While the salary range is typically between $62,125 - $75,000 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process. Caddell honors applicants' prior experience, education, and qualifications to make attractive and competitive offers.
