Sunrun Staff ERP Business Analyst – SCM Applications in Montgomery, Alabama

As part of our mission to bring clean solar power to the masses, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) Business Analyst with deep expertise in Oracle EBS applications and Oracle Cloud Implementation. In this role, you will analyze business requirements, design solutions, and provide comprehensive support for the SCM business processes. Your work will be critical in driving operational efficiency and supporting Sunrun’s ongoing transition to Oracle Cloud ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements & Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into scalable solutions using Oracle ERP and front-end applications.

  • Design, implement, and support Oracle SCM modules, with a focus on Order Management and SCM front-end applications in both Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud environments.

  • SCM Integration & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SCM modules and other related systems such as Inventory, WMS (Warehouse Management), Planning, Purchasing, and PLM modules.

  • Implement and support EBS and Cloud integrations (B2B, B2C) with front-end applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for seamless communication with external partners and customers.

  • Problem Solving & Analysis:

  • Analyze complex problems, communicate findings, and propose logical, data-driven solutions that address business issues and operational inefficiencies.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance business processes within SCM and front-end systems.

  • Project Documentation & Testing:

  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

  • Lead testing efforts for SCM-related enhancements and bug fixes, ensuring the successful deployment of new features and functionality.

  • End-User Training & Support:

  • Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users on new features and functionality in both Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud environments.

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SCM processes, providing deep functional expertise and support for new initiatives and ongoing projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years of expertise in SCM modules and 3 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Implementation, including B2B integrations and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) tools.

  • Strong understanding of core SCM processes including Order to Cash (O2C) and Warehouse Management involving order entry, order fulfillment, shipping, invoicing, and returns.

  • Experience leading functional work streams for Oracle ERP Cloud Global Implementations, with at least two successfully delivered ERP Cloud projects in a Functional Lead role.

  • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining SCM application modules, workflows, and reports in both Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading moderate to high complexity requirement-gathering efforts.

  • Proven ability to manage testing efforts and collaborate with Oracle Support on resolving technical issues and bug fixes.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Experience in implementing and supporting integrations between SCM and front-end applications using OIC.

  • Knowledge of best practices for EBS and Oracle Cloud SCM modules.

  • Communication & Teamwork:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical and non-technical information to business stakeholders.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional SCM modules, such as Oracle Planning and Procure to Pay (P2P) , Order to Cash (O2C) processes.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM application.

  • Oracle Cloud certification in SCM modules.

  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

144,510.19 to 173,412.23

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
