Responsibilities

  • Manages/Directs personnel in the management and mitigation of vulnerabilities concerning ICS and how it applies to responsible facilities and infrastructure. Oversee EMCS database operations, implement conversions, and investigates problems in database environment. Recover FRCS systems from hardware/software malfunctions. Make recommendation upgrades for hardware and software as lifecycle expectancies or supportability have been reached. Provide long range planning and ongoing integration support for future CE Systems into the ICS. Assist the CE Operations Chief in Budget Management of the ICS.

  • Performs as the Base (ISSM) Information Security Systems Manager for CE owned ICS Systems.

  • Processes, documents, and coordinates mitigation of internal or external detected vulnerabilities.

  • Provides direction to (FRCS) Facility Related Control System Technicians/Mechanics.

  • Performs system resource management/protection/manages/oversees/approves system user accounts within the ICS.

  • Performs as the POC for RMF packages for Base CE ICS.

  • Work with the ISO (Information System Owner) and/or their representatives on RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes that require their approval or notification.

  • Perform as the CE ICS center-point for the CE CCB. (Configuration Control Board)

  • Supports Exterior ICS data calls and meet technical guidance and criteria from AFCEC (Air Force Civil Engineering Center) for ISSM functions IAW the PWS.

  • Support the CE ISSO (Information Security System Officer) with data such as but not limited to ICS inventory details. Assist the ISSO on any RMF assessments/audits they perform.

  • Performs lifecycle analysis on ICS start the replacement of ICS by requesting in writing (AF Form 332) to the CE Helpdesk and/or work with AMP Manager’(s) assigned to ICS.

  • Provide IT Helpdesk similar activities to users that utilize ICS managed Equipment. Re-image ICS systems as needed. Assist in the DD Form 2875 (SAAR) process for ICS users in CE on COIN. (Community of Operating Interest Network.)

  • Assist HVAC Technicians in the field with troubleshooting techniques using overrides from the Graphical Interface.

  • Manage GFE Account for items that are assigned.

  • Order/track Materials as necessary for Work Task completions in ICS.

  • Attend/Lead meetings as required to support ICS, CE Operations and its customers.

  • Performs other duties and assignments by the CE Operation’s Chief as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • B. S. degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or other related technical discipline with computer specialization is preferred. Will substitute experience for education with a strong working knowledge of ICS to include but not limited to EMCS, AMRS, FARS, ALCS systems.

  • Experience:

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in an IT Help Desk or IT Field Technician (CST) role.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

  • This position requires a minimum of COMPTIA Sec+ (DoD 8570 IAM Level 1) Additionally Desired: CASP+ Comptia Advanced Security Practitioner, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices (ICND), A+ and Net Plus; also supervised on-the-job training (OJT), and computer-based training (CBT).

  • Experience:

  • 10 years' working in facilities maintenance environment. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of ICS systems and infrastructure. Experience working with DoD IT systems and Information Assurance.

  • Skills:

  • IT, facilities maintenance, interpersonal skills required. Must be able to communicate both orally and written.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises 4 direct reports and works with CE Ops Manager on resource/funding requirements.
